One idea I thought of creating an inviting classroom is to use words of encouragement and positive affirmations for my students. One thing I do is avoid comparing one student with another and offering constructive criticism couched in positive language.

Letting my students know through words and actions that you are there to help and support them.

It’s important to allow students to make mistakes and encourage them to keep trying without stopping to achieve something!

I try to show excitement and appreciation to every student, encourage them to participate as much as possible and not be judgemental. Giving them opportunities to win achievements every time and feel as winners. I noticed huge difference since I tried to apply what we are learning in the classroom! The kids want to spend more time with me, even on recess they asked me to chase them ( I wasn't very successful in catching any of them),and play Pokémon cards in some free time we had. Also one student that didn't want to participate a lot in the beginning of the year, after supporting every single effort he did, he offered to be the teacher and prepare something to present to the classroom.
