Instead of spending time finding the perfect graphic/image, use generators like Magic Media in Canva, Adobe Express/Magic School/Padlet Integration, or LLMs like ChatGPT (DALL-E) and Gemini to create what you're looking for.

Bonus: excellent descriptive writing practice for students! Have them turn in their sentence to you, and you generate :)

Yes, this applies to you! I didn't think it did for me either but DTL consultants Lindsey Sipe & Jordan Caldwell have modeled this for me to help sort, organize, and make sense of complicated information in Google Sheets. You can tell your preferred LLM what you're trying to do, and it will give you step by step instructions, copy/paste codes and if it doesn't work, 'chat' back to the LLM what's happening and it will walk you through solutions.

Pro tip: work with someone who has done this and ask them to share their chat. That's how I learned best, by seeing how Lindsey chatted with ChatGPT to get the Sheets formulas to work for her.

Align to your evaluation rubric

In an LLM that will read attachments like Claude, add your NC NCEES Evaluation Rubric and describe a lesson, activity, or recent professional accomplishment and ask how it aligns to the rubric. You can even ask it to turn that alignment into a couple sentence email you can send to your evaluator!

Applying for a new role? Ask an LLM to review your CV and Resume (Remove any PII if you're uploading it!) to summarize key talking points; you can even add the job description so you can clearly connect to how you are uniquely qualified to fill the role.

Another hack is to ask it to generate some practice interview questions that might be asked based on the role & the job listing!
