In addition, this project tested my teamwork skills because we had to develop creative ideas together and ensure everyone’s points were listened to and included. This is crucial within marketing roles because most campaigns and marketing plans include different team members (Indeed, 2023), this is shown within most of the key skills in future job roles I am interested in, especially the marketing executive role within Rebellious Fashion. I learnt how to compromise and include others in the marketing plan to create synergies within the plan. I utilized my key skills of having extensive knowledge regarding social media marketing I planned the social media aspect of the campaign.  I was able to apply my knowledge and skills learnt within my university experience to devise a thorough and detailed plan for Every Youth. This is required within all the marketing roles selected. However, the digital marketing manager for Murci requires a minimum of 3 years of industry experience so despite my knowledge obtained in university I must conduct self-learning therefore I plan to apply for the marketing student assistant for Hugo Boss to further develop my industry skills. In addition, the university provided a guest lecturer, the founder of Gbadebo. This talk inspired me to keep up to date on new emerging fashion brands, reach out to their founders or members to see if I can join any future job roles or even obtain information to further develop my skills and complete future research by reading articles conducted by vogue business, business of fashion and industry intel.
