 I already knew Gupta mathematicians invented the numerals and decimal systems we use today! Also I knew sons were considered more valuable than daughters.

2) I did not know if a wife’s husband died, the widow was shunned for being a financial burden on the family. And after Asoka died  his empire disintegrated and India fell into five centuries of upheaval.

3) I'm still curious about how the social triangle works and what is a caste system.

2 . Castle system. I found the castle system very interesting how you could not get married outside of the castle. And how if you were outside of the castle you were considered an untouchable.
