•they are already comfortable with their own 'old fashion' way of resources
•they do not need to use much of the resources or even none of the resources (eg. Laptop)
•they are not use to high technology or any advance modern equipment
•the company will not need to stress so much on spending money for the workers on the resources that they need to get for them

As most older workers only need lesser money because they don't spend much, not much funds/money is required to spend on them. Because older workers has a higher chance of being sick, most of them could be covered by their CPF funds or governmental subsidiary therefore the company would not need to fork out much funds/money for healthcare needs and could use those funds to focus on their younger employees.

The remaining money could be used to focus on other parts of the company like R&D, productions or more and better manpower.
