This picture best represents my understanding of the role of plants in society and the environment because it shows how a small thing can make a huge impact to the world. Plants are important because they have many roles, such as producing oxygen, providing food for living things, absorbing carbon dioxide, and so much more. Without plants the world would be a completely different place, and sometimes humans tend to overlook that. This picture shows hands holding a small plant. This to me represents how we should take care of the world and plants we have been provided. We should never underestimate the role of plants in the environment and society because they provide so much for us.
