Animals survive off food, water, and air. They eat food to grow and not starve. Animals drink water so they get hydrated and not dehydrated. Air is very important for some living organisms. Air is made by trees because trees produce oxygen. which is always used by various types of organisms like humans, plants, and animals.

Plants grow by sunlight they use the warmth from the sun to grow. Plants also use water for their soil to be moist. Plants use carbon dioxide from the air, water from the soil, and sunlight to create sugars like glucose. as their food through photosynthesis. This process also releases oxygen into the air. 

Plants use these subjects to grow because first water hydrates it like how we need to drink water to be hydrated and not dry to death.

And many more stuff but it helps them to become bigger and stronger. And not die, and these are very important because this helps out with are food chain for them to grow.
