How does personalized learning look like in kindergarten in ELA?

Good question. Real personalized learning happens when a student can choose what they want to learn, and how they want to show what they know. This actually isn't as much as a freefall as it sounds. Example: If you are testing reading comprehension, let them choose the book based on their interest. Then let them show what they learned through a method of their choice.

If you find something you want, email him the link and tell him why you want it. He'll check the budget, and the technical side to it and will get back to you. Design a sheet on which the student can record their data.

1. A sheet of letters they color in when they master the sound.

OR

2. Bar graph indicating how many letters have been mastered each week. They can set goals to see the next bar get taller than the previous one.

The key is to get them to track SOMETHING about their learning. It helps them self monitor and self realize their learning journey.

Come talk to me if you want to brainstorm other ideas.
