In the beginning, the main character is a princess in a struggling kingdom. They are low on food and supplies, and their barely surviving. She tries her best to provide for the kingdom with small things.

The main character's dad decides to try and solve the situation by arranging a marriage between the prince of a wealthy kingdom with his daughter. She decides to agree since it's for the benefit of their kingdom.

At first, she was nervous and didn't like the thought of leaving her kingdom. She wanted to refuse but then again she didn't have a choice.

Meeting the Mentor

She met the prince a few days after the proposal. Their parents suggested that they got to know each other. They seemed to have a lot in common.

Crossing the Threshold

In the end, she agreed to marry the prince. She put a lot of thought into her decision, and she took her struggling kingdom into consideration.

Allies, Trials, and Enemies

Things didn't turn out how her family thought it would. The prince's family happened to kill a dragons children. Ever since then they'd sacrifice three daughters in order to keep living in peace with the dragon. They ended up making it seem as if she (the daughter from the struggling kingdom) was of royal blood when she wasn't and basically tried to sacrifice her to the dragon.

Approach the Inmost Caved

She tries her best to get out and finds out that they've been doing the same thing to other innocent people. She followed a map to try to get out like the other girls.

The Supreme Ordeal

Her Dad ends up coming out to find her after finding out what happened and he ended up dying. She seemed determined to get out after seeing her dad die.

Reward

She got out, but went back because the Queen tried to give her sister to the dragon instead. She saved her sister and got her out but ended up fighting with the dragon.

The Road Back

She ends up almost killing the dragon, but instead she told the dragon the truth about what they had been doing to innocent people. She healed the dragon and went to confront the kingdom.

Resurrection

Once she was back at the kingdom, she just so happened to walk into another marriage happening. It was a girl who would go through the same thing as her. She ended up telling the whole kingdom what was going on.

Return with Prize

The dragon ended up burning down the kingdom. She ended up deciding to go and travel the world with her sister and step-mom like she always wanted to.
