Godfather part I shows us the reality of that dream, focusing on the Corleone family, specifically the youngest son Michael (Al Pacino), this is a hero of the Second World War, who returned from the conflict and will be involved in your family's business. One thing I love about the movie is that it is realistic, and
has a very human approach, we came to sympathize with each of the members of the family, in my case it was with the father, Vito Corleone (Marlo Brando) who is my favorite character, is a man who has decided to live outside this American dream, he is a figure that people do not likes to relate, but when they have problems they are the first to come to him, it also really shows the corruption of this idyllic dream. Throughout history, we see how
Michael goes from being a model American citizen to becoming a cold and calculating character, thus making his rise in crime much more dramatic.  In turn, El Padrino represents the daily life of the Italian-American people, but also brutally represents the world of the mafia.

No wonder this film won many awards, such as the Oscar for Best Film, Best Actor for Marlon Brando, and Best Adapted Screenplay. The Godfather is and will be remembered as a masterpiece of cinema, and its sequels would be in charge of demonstrating that the American dream is just that, a very distant dream.
Classification: Brilliantly acted by the entire cast, written and masterfully directed, The Godfather is a work that no one should miss. 10/10
