Four planes were hijacked and two of them were flown into the twin towers in New York City, the third plane hit the Pentagon, and the fourth plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. Almost 3,000 people died from these devastating attacks. The ones who carried out these attacks were islamic terrorists from Saudi Arabia and were supported by the Saudi fugitive Osama Bin Laden. They were retaliating for the United State’s support of Israel and the military presence in the Middle East.
