Providing a work bank is not only beneficial for students with disabilities but all students. Having a word bank allows students to cross off answers they know are incorrect or have already written down. Word banks also allow a minor “refresher” on terms while the students are answering questions. Some students might remember the definition but not the word, and this allows them to match the two correctly.

As someone with specific learning disabilities, word banks were always helpful for me because I sometimes would forget the words asked of me to use and it gave a sense of comfort when taking the exam. It also helped to know that you can only use that word once. Some of my teachers would give me a word bank as part of me and other people in my class with disabilities tests.

I think that a word bank is a good idea for people with disabilities because they would know that the word would only be used once rather than more than once. When I was in my Health class in 6th grade we would do word bank and the teacher would highlight the four in one color than change the color so that I know which ones to choose from to be the answer.

This can be beneficial just incase they need the reminder of what words mean. Also to give them a sense that they can revive help on things. This can help them improve their vocab and potential stay on track.

I think a word bank would be beneficial to students with disabilities because they could forget words and having it on a test could help them by seeing the word next to the sentence and putting those clues together or they could spell it wrong and get points off for it

I believe that providing a word bank could be beneficial for students with disabilities/all student's. It could help them keep track of what words they already used as well as spell the words correctly and understand the words and deffinitions.

Providing word banks alongside tests is beneficial not just for students with disabilities but for all students. This provides students with the words they need and should be using so they don’t get confused about what to say. For example, with a vocabulary test the teacher could provide the vocabulary words and also some sentences to test if the students can understand which vocab word makes sense with what the sentences should say.

If on a test there is a fill in the blank section, providing a word bank gives everyone equal opportunity to get every question correct. For example in my AP US History class we had an all fill in the blank test, but no word bank was provided. So, if you couldn't exactly remember the name or date you were essentially screwed. Where if you had a word bank it would be a lot more fair and equal and possibly spark their memory. It also helps with spelling for younger kids.

Providing word banks can be very beneficial for students with any type of disability. It gives them options to answer the questions, even if they aren't completely sure. They can evaluate each option with each question and have a better understanding of what is expected.

Test banks are beneficial to not only students with disabilities but to all students. Sometimes when taking a test your brain will blank so it’s useful to look down and remember the words incase you forgot them or forgot how to spell them. This doesn’t give them the answers but just helps them.

Something that I always struggled with was memorizing terms. I never really learned them, so shortly after the test I would forget them. I think not providing a word bank is encouraging students to memorize terms that they will later forget. It also helps students with disabilities, or any student in general, stay organized during a test. I like to cross off words when I have a word bank so that I know what I’ve used and it helps me get through the test easier.
