Russia got involved in World War 1, to remain a powerful nation. At first, they were not in optimal condition due to the Russo, Japanese War. Serbia kept asking Russia for military help, but Russia kept declining them. Serbia requested riffles, guns, equipment, and they were all declined. Many mobilizations were ordered from country onto another country. During the war. Russia made a deal with Britain and France, and divided the Turkish straits so Russia gained access to the Atlantic Ocean.

The U.S got invloved in WW1 becuase of Germany sinking ships. Several U.S ships traveling to Europe were damaged because of German mines that Geramny set up due to the attemp of blocking British Isles."On May 7th, the British-owned Lusitania ocean miner was torpedoed without warning just off the coast of Ireland. Of the 1,959 were killed, including 128 Americans" America was infuriated becuase of the deaths of 128 Americans caused by the sinking of the Lusitania ocean miner. All in all America decided to go to war to defend their ships and people.

England didn't want Germany to attack Belgium. Germany ignored the English's demand and they did not come to the peace talks. Britain promised to protect French Coast from German attack, as they wanted to help alliances. The main alliance between England and Belgium would result in England being forced to go to war. This is because within the peace treaty between Belgium and Britain they both promised each other their countries support in war. Once Germany attacked Belgium, England would have to step in.

German military was more prepared and better armed than the Russians as their factories and infrastructure were superior.
