He was a famous black and white photographer than caught scenes and took his photos following a rule he made up called the "Decisive Moment" where he would take the photo at the right point to capture the essence of what was happening in that scene. This image portrays my love for Black and white photography, contrast and depth. There are so many elements here that make this an exceptional photo - the diagonals, your eye leading into and out of the picture, the interactions between the children, use of a framing device. Everything in this image just fits into place.

    I love taking photos of my children growing up and I love seeing them develop in themselves and as little people. When I take my images, i compose them carefully and consider the rule of thirds, and interesting viewpoints as much as possible in my images. I would like to know more about newborn photography, as it would be good if I can photograph this special time in the lives of many new parents.
