They dropped this bomb on Hiroshima, Japan durimg WWII. This bomb kill almost 140,000 out of 350,000 of people living in Hiroshima, Japan. They launched this aircraft from Mariana Island. Tibbets, Jr was the pilot that flew the aircraft.  This was a big deal in life because of the damage it did. \
