The earthquake occurred from a shift in the Motagua fault zone. The earthquake lasted between 30-50 seconds. This earthquake caused casualties from a range of 17,000- 22,000 and lots of damages. The riots occur following the acquittal of the 4 polices officers that were involved in the beating of Rodney King in 1991. The riots occurred for five days. Residents were furious and during that particular time the African American community were frustrated with the criminal justice system. During the 5 days, more than 50 people were dead including 10 people who were shot by LAPD officers and National guardsmen. More than 2,000 injured and about 6,000 people arrested. During this time she wasn't living in Los Angeles. The third plane into The Pentagon, and the fourth head to the White House, but was diverted into a field in Pennsylvania by the passengers on the plane. Within the first two hours after the planes had hit the towers, collapse causing the deaths of about 3,000 people. The attack was a change in the 21s century for Americans. This event became to be known as a National day of service and remembrance. Sandra had heard about this, and like everyone on that day she held sadness for the loss of lives that day. She personally wasn't affected in the sense of devastation, however, that day seems to be a big event that happened to millions including her.

During this time Sandra was working in housekeeping and was taking care of her 3 children. She spent her days working and being a mom. By the time she had me she was 33 years old. Sandra describes this artist as her favorite artist growing up. Always listened to him from young age up to her late 20s. Pedro Fernandez began his career as pre-teen prodigy and became a pop culture superstar who remains as one of Mexico's enduring treasures. He is a multiple Latin Grammy-winning ranchera and mariachi singer. Overtime, other platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and other sites were created. The number of people using social media platforms increased humongous by millions to billions. Overtime, platforms usage became known by the age range of people. Depending what age range they would use a specific platform. Sandra believes that social media now is bigger than it was in the 90s or even earlier than that. Social Media is now advanced and she sometimes struggles to use it.
