Last summer we went to Mexico to one of its beaches called “Puerto Vallarta” with my family, every summer we go to the beach because of my uncles, aunts and cousins.

But that summer was very different, it started like any morning; We got to the beach and got into the water. My cousins, my sister and I were playing in the water, swimming near the shore and having fun. Minutes before lunch everyone went to the tent to eat but I wanted to stay in the water for a while.

I didn't realize my sister was coming after me. When I entered the sea I lost my balance and drowned a little and suddenly I felt that the sand was crying and coughing. But I was very scared and desperate I tried to find that person's hand and I realized that she was my little sister, and she was there, crying and coughing like me, but she was alive. And that was all I wanted to know.

I remember someone gave us water, my aunt was crying, my parents were grateful to God, but happily everything was fine. We were alive.

One day, we decided to travel with my entire family to Huancaya. This place is known for its beautiful landscapes and cold climate. Upon arrival, we took a tour, visiting a church. Suddenly, we realized that my youngest niece was missing. Scared, we shouted her name and searched around, but couldn't find her. We decided to split up to look for her. My grandmother, who went to the left, found her crying on a chair. She brought her back to us, and my niece explained that she had mistaken another lady for her mom and was following her. When she realized her mistake, she ran away, and that's when she got lost. After calming down, we continued with the tour, but it was a stressful and unpleasant situation.

A fire in my best friend's house

Four years ago, on New Year's, my best friend's house got on fire. It was minutes before 12 when we saw the third floor in flames suddenly. He wasn't there, but his family was, so he asked me to find his mother and his brothers. Neighbors helped move a small truck because they were scared the fire would get bigger. Happily, his family left the house in time, and he came to the neighborhood.

"Fenomeno del Niño". Then one night while I was working it started to rain. All the shops had to close and the entire center became silent. I had to walk from the center to my house and when I passed through the market all the stalls were flooded. It was a sad day.

A scary experience

Tiltle: A driving test

A month ago, I got my driver's license. I was on the "touring", I went to take our driving test but since they rescheduled it for holidays, they changed the date to after the new year so they changed the circuit and it was complicated because the one I had practiced had a different route and it was only one for all.

My instructor was worried because they changed it without warning and well that day I had my driving test which I failed because I got confused when taking the route I was on. My parents consoled me and understood why the circuit change was something that happened unexpectedly. Faced with this event I became sad and unmotivated but I gave my second attempt again and passed the exam all right.

When I turned 15, my parents threw a big party for me, and they hired the "best" emcee in my district to lead the celebration. That day I was ready to leave and the man didn't come, he didn't answer the calls and my mom started to worry. At that point, the stylist told us that she could call her friend Efraín, who was doing the same job. There was no other choice and we called him. He arrived on time and coordinated the details very quickly with my parents. He did a very good job, that day was one of the happiest of my life.

Unexpected Adventures on the Beach

When I was 14 years old, I traveled with my family and friends to the beach. While I was playing with my friends, building sandcastles, my parents were fishing. In the afternoon, we heard the car alarm go off, but we ignored it. Later in the evening, we were getting ready to leave, but when we went to the car, we realized it had been stolen! It turns out that while we were relaxing, thieves were stealing our car. It was a truly unique experience, but thanks to kind people, they helped us tow the car back home.

Suicide Forest

When I traveled to Japan with my family, my brother and I decided to go to the Suicide Forest to capture paranormal activity or maybe see a ghost. My parents didn't agree, they told us that they would wait in the car. When we entered the forest I was very afraid but my brother wanted to find ghosts so we kept walking while we recorded everything. I was holding my brother's arm until we started hearing strange noises and screams, but we kept walking. Then I started hearing footsteps and screams. Then my brother told me that he had seen something and that I should not move. He ran out recording everything, I was scared because I couldn't see him anymore so I heard him scream and I started to hear footsteps running towards me and at that moment they took me by the arm and I realized it was my dad and my brother laughing at me. I was crying very scared but it was just a joke they played on me.

Magic with fire

Fifteen years ago, when I went to my cousin's 7th birthday party, they hired a magician. At that time, magicians were the sensation of the parties. It all started when he performed a magic act with fire and meat, it was so impressive that when he finished he said that we could do it in our homes and so the next day my cousin and I went to buy all the magic materials. We went to the laundry room to do something and my mom had realized that we weren´t there and she told us that we almost set the house on fire because we set the newspaper on fire. My cousin and I were very scared because we didn't know that this was done with an adult. And so they punished us for doing this prank that almost turned into a tragedy.

When I was 3 years old I ran away from home. I don't remember how. But my mother told me that they were using a megaphone near my house, saying that a girl in green pants and a blue sweater was lost. The funny thing was that my mom was saying how irresponsible the girl's mother was, how could she lose her. After a few minutes she asked my older brother where she was. When they looked for me throughout the house, my mother realized that she was the irresponsible mother. Jejeje

I remmeber when we were in pandemic times, My aunt was preparing for go to work when My family sleep in their rooms. Also, My brother and me were waking when we listened a similar sound a rubbish's car that it pass front our house, beacuse we sleep near the Windows. Situation was complicated when my brother turn on tv and we saw a news in another distric near at us, the weather is bad, because the storm of thunder was coming. In the momento, my grandmother was saying: Mike and Joe don´t go out at the Street, It’s dangerous! Fortunality, No one was injured.

One year ago, my father's car broke down in the middle of the trip. One sunny day, my family and I decided to take a road trip. We were planning to go to the beach and come back at night, I remember we stopped at a restaurant for lunch. When we got back on the road we felt that the car was failing and we had to stop. Apparently the car's engine was failing.
We had to call someone to help us, We were stopped for several hours, it was already late. Fortunately, a car helped us.

We decided to return home because it was too late. When it was a nice family trip it was the complete opposite.

Four years ago, I went on vacation with my family to Mancora. When we got to the hotel my sister and I ran to the pool. While we were playing and swimming we heard a loud noise coming from the room, when we went to look we were surprised that there was an iguana in my mother's bed and she was running everywhere. I had to call reception for help. Fortunately, they took the iguana out and my mother was calmer while my sister and I were laughing. It was definitely a fun experience.

After 2 hours, I decided to return to the hotel, and while changing, I realized that I had lost my phone. Anxiously, I searched inside my backpack, but it wasn't there. That's when I hurried to the beach, and there it was, in the sand. When I got back to the hotel, there was no one there. My family wasn't around, and there were missed calls on my phone.

Nice experience

In 2021, i traveled to tarapoto. During these two years I was playing soccer in that city, it was the first time I left home to live alone, during the first few days I was struggling to get used to it until I made a very good friendship with my apartment colleagues. Along with them, visited most of the city such as the blue lagoon, lamas castle and different waterfalls. It is a very beautiful city with a very hot climate and its population is extremely cheerful, I would definitely go again. In these years I had a great time and the best thing I had was accompanied by some good people.

When I experienced a forest fire

During school holidays (approximately 2015). I took a trip to the jungle of La Libertad.

One day we took an excursion to the forest near the town, and on that excursion we suddenly heard a rumor that a forest fire had started very close to where we were. When we passed near there, I saw that some trees had already been consumed by the flames and the dry leaves fueled the fire more. Fortunately, they managed to put it out before it spread further. If the fire had spread further, there would probably have been losses beyond material.

Expecting the bare minimum, I checked my results to find, to my shock, a perfect 20. The relief and elation were instantaneous. The journey from fearing the worst to achieving the best not only solidified my passage but also turned a seemingly stressful situation into an unexpected triumph. It was a poignant reminder that sometimes, our efforts can yield results far beyond our initial aspirations.

A few years ago my mother surprised me with an unexpected trip.

I was just about to finish my last year of school and my mother came home with some tickets to Cusco, I never went a this place and it was my dream to go there.

We went with my whole family, it was incredible, we spent 3 weeks visiting all possible places, we went to Macchu Picchu, seeing a wonder of the world is something I never imagined visiting, one of the best experiences,unforgettable.

Frustrated beach day

Two years ago, I was travelling with my family to Cancun in Mexico. My mother and sister have been planning it since the pandemic. Although the trip was wonderful, the second day did not start as we expected and the plans were ruined. After settling in at the hotel on the first day and exploring it with my family, the second day of the trip promised to be a day at the beach. We choose some places near from sea. We left the towels and after applying the protection, the four of us entered the water. There were many sunken rocks, we stepped on them without being able to do anything. It hurt and was uncomfortable. There was also a lot of seaweed, so swimming was difficult without it sticking to your body. But it was the only day we spent at the beach, so we were going to make the most of it. Nobody expected the next thing. I saw that the sky turn cloudy and when we least realized it it started to rain a lot. As if it were a waterfall. With my family and the other people who came to the beach we got out of the water quickly and headed with our things to take refuge from the rain. We were soaked in the rain and waited cold in a wooden and straw hut for an hour until everything calmed down. Once it ended, my family and I had to suspend the idea of continuing on the beach. All the seats had gotten wet and it was not safe because the floors outside the hotel had been flooded. We returned to our rooms without having been able to enjoy ourselves. I was relieved that at least no one had any accidents due to the rain.

A lucky day

This happened last year when, as a game, I participated in a raffle for tickets to go to a Peruvian soccer team match. I was studying in my room when one of my friends wrote to me telling me to win the raffle tickets. I was surprised because the number of people who participated was immense. In the end, I picked up the ticket I won, I was able to attend the game together with a companion and we were able to enjoy the game although the team could not win.
