She graduated high school when she was 14 and was one of three African American students picked to integrate West Virginia’s Graduate Schools she worked as a mathematician with NASA and helped verify calculations for the first American to orbit the Earth and crafted the navigational path for the first humans to land on the moon

He got a PhD with 28 open slots. At this time there was a lot of racism going on so it was already hard to get the PhD but because if the racism this was an almost impossible feat and after this he became a teacher at Harvard!
