All things considered, I took away a great bunch of things and therefore have mixed feelings about the workshop. I will try to keep this short :)

Workshop leader
- On a personal level, I think he was very nice and approachable.
- I don't know what hours he is used to for this workshop. I am glad ours was already shorter, and that might have influenced his time management, but I was quite annoyed by it. There seemed to be little structure, and when we prepared something (like our posters) we did not even take a moment to observe some of them, despite me asking him about it.

The workshop content:
- The sessions were OK - it was an introduction to all things IB and I definitely feel like I can now fully explain to someone what the IB is.
- Rather than just informing us about all these things, I would have loved moments to discuss things more as a group to share ideas about how we think our education should be.

Some general thoughts:
- The atmosphere was quite depressing. I know it's due to different reasons such as the course being in the holiday, and I could not pull myself out of a slightly depressed mood, but the fact that we were in the PYP 4 room all day, with the blinds closed and the lights off, was absolutely horrible. At first I liked that we had the workshop in the primary building, but in hindsight I would have loved it if we could have had it at secondary in a room with more light.
- For some of us, this workshop was not necessary at all. I don't know why our leaders with more experience were there. As a starting teacher, this workshop would have been THE opportunity to dive deep into the IB and ask all the questions that I have to someone who has unmatched IB experience. But I did not feel like I could do so, simply because most others in the room have way more experience than I have. That is not something they can do anything about, however. Learning that there is also the same course for early years, I think it would be valuable to consider what courses suit our individual members of staff.

Things I like:

Some good dynamics and discussions were there. Cooperation with other colleagues and reflection on some of our practices. The review of some of the key points of the PYP.

Things I would change:

The workshop leader clearly struggled with time management and with the application of the content he had prepared. Though he seemed knowledgeable about IB and PYP, it was difficult for him to accept some other perspectives.

Perhaps The Apollo Room could have been a better place to run the workshop since it's much bigger and spacious.

It was, in my opinion, highly inspiring, motivational, and practical. Many questions were clarified and it also provided suggestions for future actions and planned activities.

What I liked:
- I think the workshop was really good for starters in the IB to gain some general knowledge.
- The lecturer knew a lot about the IB and PYP and had some really helpful examples, which made it easy to connect the theoretical knowledge to our own practice.
- After the workshop, I was a bit overwhelmed, however, I got a lots of ideas for improvement and small things I could immediately adapt in the classroom.
- I particularly enjoyed the group discussions to exchange ideas and talk about everything we learned.

Improvements:
- I felt that the pace of the workshop was somewhat rushed. It was a bit unfortunate that we could not dive into topics more deeply, especially during the discussions. (but maybe this was also not the intention of the course and in-depth discussions are something for after the workshop).
- Because it felt a little rushed, I think there was less time to address questions. They might have been more informative than the Q and A.
- I thought the Q and A would have been more something to include in the workshop to make it more personal rather than going through the questions one by one.

The workshop was informative, but a bit crammed and rushed. The content was quite overwhelming, and some topics were not discussed further.

About the Speaker:
- He displayed clear knowledge about Making PYP Happen as he explained the topics.
- He tried his best to answer questions asked by giving situational examples and according to school's point of view.
- He prepared such presentation with many pages but most were skipped.

Suggestions:
- Concise Presentation with important points of discussion
- Better planning and time management: presentations, discussions, and activities
- A more spacious room or class could have been more beneficial and conducive
