The law is based off of years of decision making, not peoples popular opinions on what should happen. The police had a warrant which knocked off a few charges that they could have gotten. Do i think they were more willing to come in and just start shooting without asking questions because she was black, absolutely. Its just like when a minor can say they gave consent to have intercourse with an 18 year old but the law says no matter what the minor says, they cant legally give consent. Just because they killed her doesnt mean that they can be charged with every type of murder out there, thats just not how the law works. Its very sad but its true.
