         <description><![CDATA[<div>Bismuth- I learned that used in bullets and cosmetics products.&nbsp;<br>Silver- you can eat a small portion of it and if you rub it on your skin it will turn blue.&nbsp;<br>Strontium- it is used in glow and the dark paint and in fireworks.&nbsp;<br>Silicon- it irritates skin and silicon can cause silicosis which is cancerous and you can die from it.&nbsp;<br>Neon- neon is a nonmedal gas and is a poor conductor. Neon can be found in makeup and paints.&nbsp;<br>Platinum- only a few hundred tons of platinum are produced annually. Platinum is mainly used in jewelry.&nbsp;<br>Magnesium- came from the Greek word magnesia and Magnesium ignites in air very easily and is used in sparklers and fireworks.&nbsp;<br>Aluminum- discovered in Denmark in 1807 and aluminum is in a solid state. Buildings are also made by aluminum.&nbsp;<br>Hydrogen- hydrogen gets its name from the Greek word Hydro, hydrogen makes up 75% of the universe.&nbsp;<br>Mercury- mercury is found in Rome cosmetics, Mercury was named after the planet Mercury and it is poisonous&nbsp;<br>Nitrogen- nitrogen is colorless and odorless. Nitrogen can be frozen to form dry ice.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Gold- in its natural state gold is a solid. Gold is used in jewelry and in can be used in coins.&nbsp;<br>Sodium- sodium Helps to control red blood cells and will explode when in contact with water. <br><br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

It ignites in air easily, which makes it good for fireworks.<br>Al: Aluminum is found in Denmark. It is very recyclable.<br>H: It's the main source of power for NASA spaceships. It's also used to make ammonia.<br>Hg: Mercury was found on Egyptian tumbs.<br>N: Nitrogen is colorless and odorless. It can rapidly freeze and preserve foods.<br>Au: It can be beat into very this strips for decoration. 2/3 of americas gold supply comes from South Africa.<br>Na:&nbsp;It used to be used to preserver meat from spoiling.
