         <description><![CDATA[<div>Step 1:  Review the information that you discovered on your own with other group members who examined your decade.<br><br>Step 2:  Identify a leader in your group.<br><br>Step 3: Discuss the answers to the questions that you researched on your own. Add additional information from your peers' answers that you might not have included in your answer.<br><br>1.  What were the living and employment options for people with disabilities?<br><br></div><div>2. What were the quality of life expectations for people with disabilities?<br><br>3.  What litigation or legislation occurred during this time period that had an impact on persons with disabilities? <br>Develop a fact sheet for your decade. <br><br><br>Step 4: Regroup into your Jigsaw groups (i.e., someone different from each home group)<br><br>Step 5: While you are still in your Jigsaw groups, each group member should share responses to items 1-3 above. Group members take notes. Discuss notes. <br><br>Step 6: On this Padlet, develop a fact sheet that identifies major pieces of legislation and litigation and briefly indicate the purpose or outcomes of each per decade.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
