Welcome to Canada. The very stringy cheese on the fries might the first thing you notice because the photographer wants the audience to focus on the level of mouthwatering the picture carries almost as if you can get a stomach ache by the amount of cheese and be satisfied. It is one of the well-known meals of Canadians which would be poutine with a burger. Now this is taken in a lunch room setting where students and staffs are in quite a hurry and in need of a well filling meal who cares whether you have cheese dripping from your forks because it all goes in your mouth.

There was also a requirement use one image to express a semiotic analysis.   I dont see that.
