The big thing that jumped out was how people were described. The Seventh Man sounded weathered and looked rather rugged. (Lines 11-17) K was a frail kid and he sounded kind of like he was a little pathetic. (27-30) The “Eye of the storm” was staring at us. (Lines 72-74) The “fear” of this whole passage just gave of a super eerie feeling.
