Phoebe Bridgers- "Funeral"

According to the DSM-V, in order to be diagnosed with major depressive disorder one must have a consistent pattern for at least two weeks of:
a) depressed mood, feelings of sadness, or emptiness and/or
b) loss of interest or pleasure in previously enjoyed activities.
This individual must also experience four of the following symptoms during the same time period:
a) significant weight loss or gain
b) persistent changes in sleep patterns
c) observable restlessness or slowing of activity
d) excessive feelings of guilt or worthlessness
e) persistent fatigue or lack of energy
f) persistent difficulty with concentration or decision making
g) suicidal behaviors or recurrent thoughts of death or suicide

This song begins with the artist stating that she is about to perform at a funeral for a kid just a year older than her (the artist is young, in her early-mid 20's).
Throughout the song she discloses some of her recent behavioral patterns and feelings. This behavior meets the criteria for major depressive disorder.
She notes feelings of sadness and emptiness that have lead her to having suicidal thoughts.
The first lyric of the chorus is "Jesus Christ, I'm so blue all the time, and that's just how I feel. I always have and I always will." This clearly represents someone who has a depressed mood and feelings of sadness.
This lyric demonstrates her feelings of suicidal thoughts and persistent fatigue, as well as anxiety with her lack of energy: "I have a friend I like to call, when I've bored myself to tears. We talk until we think we might just kill ourselves, but then we laugh until it disappears."
The lyric directly following that shows that she is trying to cope using substances, accompanied with a tinge of guilt from her own notions of self-importance. Phoebe says, "last night I blacked out in my car, then I woke up in my childhood bed. Wishing I was someone else, feeling sorry for myself, until I remembered, someone's kid is dead."
As you can see by the described behavior above, the song clearly is disclosing information about herself in which the behavior meets the criteria for major depressive disorder.
I feel like the source does a good job of accurately portraying the psychological disorder, and I do not think there are any stereotypes that emerged throughout the song because the lyrics were describing personal, anecdotal experiences. However, the stereotype of people who are depressed being disillusioned with life and sad all the time is certainly prevalent.
Here is the song:
