-          Some strong presentations from interesting people (Sacha McMeeking, Lizzie Conner, Ngai Tahu guys) 
-          Conference dinner band with trumpeter was OBVIOUSLY a highlight. I like the idea of a dinner quiz for an icebreaker but it wasn’t well run. 
-          I liked the vibe of the set up in the space, the Auckland one felt very corporate with its trade stalls, this was more sociable 
-          Seemed to be a good number of women speakers though I haven’t actually done a count

-          Delegates list with job titles 
-          Table topics or working lunches where you can select a table to sit at with other from your discipline 
-          More interactive workshops where you can meet and share practice with peers from discipline 
-          Use of digital platforms for asking questions
-          Plenary sessions could be more conversational (like Writers and Readers Week type sessions) rather than presentations 
-          Be nice to showcase the talents of a very talented sector – could there be a Pecha Kucha type showcase for people to share their PhD thesis, photography, art, poetry, songs, stories – their creative work outside of “work” – it’s one of the things that makes our sector cool!
-          Because we’re hosting it here at Te Papa there will be lots of opportunities to give tours back of house and front of house. Need to think about how we can integrate this into the programme. 
-          New Taiao Nature exhibition will have just opened, could we have a session looking at how Maatauranga Māori and science were woven together?
