         <description><![CDATA[<div>Resource partitioning is when species divide a niche to avoid competition for resources. Therefore, organisms and different species have to find ways to coexist with one another. <mark>Several anole lizards in the Caribbean islands share common diets—mainly insects. They avoid competition by occupying different physical locations. Another example is when the mollusks stab their prey with their radula, inject toxins and eat it. Many different species coexist together.</mark></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Unlike resource partitioning, The competitive exclusion principle states that no two species can coexist if they occupy the same niche and compete for the same resources. <mark>An example of competitive exclusion is, the red squirrels replacing the grey squirrels in Britain. The number of red squirrels decreased because of the disappearance of hazelnuts, competitive exclusion, and diseases. Gray squirrels easily adapted to the environment and replaced the red squirrels gradually.</mark></div>]]></description>

         <title>Mutualism</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mutualism describes the ecological interaction between two or more species where each species has a net benefit. Mutualism is a common type of ecological interaction. <br><mark>Example: A relationship between an oxpecker (a kind of bird) and the rhinoceros or zebra. The oxpeckers get food and the beasts get pest control. Another example is symbiotic relationship between a bee and a flower. When bees land on a flower, the bees get some pollen on their hairy bodies, and when they land in the next flower, some of the pollen from the first one rubs off, pollinating the plant. This benefits the plants. In this mutualistic relationship, the bees get to eat, and the flowering plants get to reproduce.</mark></div>]]></description>
