Genre:  Realistic Fiction

In the beginning Zane goes to New Orleans to visit his grandma.Then a hurricane hits and they try to evacuate but the dog runs away back to New Orleans. Then  in the middle Zane follows him. They don't get away in time so they get in the attic.After they are found by a man and a little girl.Then they traval though  the the town all together.It has a great ending.     

I love this book because I like to learn about history.
