I use gen AI occasionally to generate custom images for internal presentations (currently avoiding this for external presentations due content liability concerns). I've also used it occasionally to help abbreviate passage with with word count limits.

I wanted to use ChatGPT to help me pull recurring topics from a set of interviews and focus groups but couldn't do so because of privacy issues. If/when we have access to a secure version of AI, I think it could be particularly useful for summarizing qualitative data.

I use ChatGPT to help speed data visualization drafts, especially when using code-based approaches (R, Python). I avoid inputting the actual data and use mocked data - I then use the script/shell to create the visuals on my local computer.
