A positive is that the research is done in an objective and systematic way. 
2. Confirmed consent is important in the research of humans. If the people knew about the experiment it could cause them to become biased.

2. cross-sectional studies is taking a section from across the studies. longitudinal studies is repeating examinations of the same group over a period of time. A downfall to Cross- sectional research is sometimes missing some variables.
