I’ve seen unfairness in school when some students had better access to technology at home while others struggled without reliable internet. To ensure equality, rules should adapt by providing resources like loaner laptops or extended deadlines so every student has a fair chance to succeed.

It is unfair to take away our phones for the whole day in school. Students bought it with their money so it is not the schools right to take it away no matter if they get distracted or not. Secondly, it is also unfair because there are situation that students have to make emergency calls that does not seem like a big deal to the teachers but is to a student. It would be better if they adjusted the rules as not using phones in school or during class instead of physically taking them away from students.
