My name is Dorothy and I'm the facilitator for this group.  I work for European Schoolnet (EUN), which is the central organisation that coordinates eTwinning on behalf of the Commission. EUN is based in Brussels.
I've been working on the pilot of this initiative for the past 2 years, with the aim of introducing eTwinning to the new generation of teachers.
The aim of this group is to provide useful information and help people make connections with other TTIs for ideas and to find new partners.

I'm a primary teacher in Genova, Italy and a teacher trainer at the University of Genova, Scienze della formazione primaria.
My students at school are 6-11 years old.
At the University I work with student teachers for primary and pre primary school level.
I use eTwinning in my school work and at the University I plan an eTwinning workshop with Fausta Cacciabue and Armanda Magioncalda in order to introduce the students to eTwinning world. 
We've been working on the workshop for the past two years .
I was in Bruxelles last year . I have been using eTw platform since 2006 to cooperate with colleagues from different European countries.  My students like working and interacting with other mates so every year I try to involve them in  projects.
