         <description><![CDATA[<div>Firearms- This changed the tradition of the Japanese warrior. A sword but people discovered later on that a firearm was more effective. <br>Clock- Clocks were a new invention,. It's now a new way to tell time. <br>Glasses- Glasses were very effective because the people that didn't have good vision now had something to fix their problem </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Japanese accepted the missionaries in part because they associated them with the Muskets and other goods that they wanted to purchase. It was very successful,   it upset the Tokugawa Ieyasu.  At first Ieyasu didn't take any action. He was scared of diving off the Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch and English traders.  Since so many of the rebels were Christian, the shogun decided that Christianity was at the root of the rebellion. </div>]]></description>
