During the six days there is a party in all streets, the city comes alive with dynamic rhythms and colorful costumes , people do not work for a week and they only  dedicate themselves to enjoying  the carnival.

Samba is the traditional music of brazil and that is danced with very difficult choreographies, so samba schools prepare for a year to have the best show and win. The schools choose a topic and develop everything on it. The samba dancers, adorned in extravagant feathers and sequins, enchant the spectators with their graceful moves.

The parade is presented  in the sambadromo. The place was only made for the carnival parade.

People are constantly engaging in joyful celebrations, expressing their love for music, dance, and Brazilian culture. The people are indulging in delicious street food, savoring delicacies such as feijoada and açaí bowls.

The festival has attracted millions of tourists who have fallen in love with the captivating spirit of Rio de Janeiro

In 1941 it was the first carnival celebration in Brazil since they wanted to recreate the customs of Italy. In 1920, samba music was introduced, which was a form of expression for poor people.

In 2024, 383 years of celebration of Carnival will be celebrated in Rio de Janeiro.

The 2024 carnival will begin on February 11 and it is expected that one million people from all over the world will come to enjoy this event. To achieve a wonderful show, thousands of people prepare for a year in advance. Composers, electricians, musicians, dressmakers, craftsmen, carpenters work every day so that everything is ready for the carnival.

This year 27 samba schools participated. Each school wishes to win the prestigious carnival championship title.

40 judges are responsible for defining the winner.

There had been a lot of contest.On the last day of the carnival, the children's samba schools will also participate and with this contest the carnival celebration closes.

The "Momo King" has been an important symbol in the carnival so many people participate in an annual contest.

Tickets to have a place in the sambadromo for 2024 are available for sale and there are very few free places left.
