Teaching has always been my passion, but I’m also very curious about the novelties in education and how we can prepare our students for the 21st century. That’s why I’ve been part of the eTwinning community for over 15 years, and I’m also a Scientix Ambassador, promoting innovation and collaboration in schools.

Our school is quite big — we have about 1,350 students and we teach in two shifts. For Erasmus+, we involve mostly the members of our Erasmus+ School Club, especially the 6th and 7th graders, who are full of energy and eager to connect with other European students.

We’ve already gathered 8 years of experience with Erasmus+ projects, and right now we’re running an Erasmus+ KA1 accreditation. For the future, we’re very interested in setting up new partnerships, so that our students can share their experiences and also learn from others during mobilities.

I’m really looking forward to finding new partners and new ideas so that we can continue building meaningful projects together.

I am Alexia Chatzispyroglou, an English Literature teacher at Aristotelio College High School in Thessaloniki, Greece. I am excited to be part of the eTwinning project "Green Digital Citizen – Today, Tomorrow, Always", a project that focuses on nurturing responsible global citizens with a deep understanding of sustainability, digital competence, and environmental stewardship.

As an advocate for innovation in education and a Skills Educator, I am dedicated to helping my students engage with digital technologies in ways that support sustainable development and address real-world environmental challenges. Through this project, I aim to foster a learning environment where students can connect the power of technology with the urgency of the climate crisis, developing not only their academic skills but also their sense of responsibility as digital citizens.

My students engaged to this project, aged 14, are enthusiastic, digitally literate, and eager to explore how technology can be used to promote sustainability and global awareness. They are particularly passionate about finding innovative solutions to the environmental challenges we face and applying their knowledge of English to engage in global conversations about the future of our planet.

I look forward to collaborating with all of you as we explore how digital tools and innovative learning methodologies—such as Project-Based Learning, Collaborative Learning, and Flipped Classroom—can inspire our students to take meaningful action toward a more sustainable and just world. Our shared goal is to empower students to not only be better digital citizens but also to be proactive agents of positive change, both locally and globally.

As we embark on this exciting journey together, I am reminded of the words of Mahatma Gandhi: "Be the change that you wish to see in the world." Let's work together to guide our students in becoming the green digital citizens of today, tomorrow, and always!

I'm an Computer Science teacher in public primary school since 2003, teacher advisor and MIEE. I'm a member of the eTwinning community since 2012 and I participated in many eTwinning projects awarded with EQL. My school received the eTwinning School Label from the beginning, from 2018 onwards.

I particulary love projects with STEM, coding, artificial intelligence, robotics, environmental topics and projects which are related to the Sustainable Development Goals. I am a member of the Education for Climate community. I can use the English and German languages. I have been participating in CodeWeek, Bebras, Hour of Code and Safer Internet Day for years. I participated several times in Scientix STEM DC, Scratch Day, Media Literacy Days, and various international initiatives related to environmental education.

My school is located in Međimurje county, and there are around 400 students in our school. In this project, I will participate with students aged 11-14. I look forward to working with all of you!

My name is Maria Tzouma and I am very happy to be here with you! I love eTwinning and every year I collaborate with my classes on eTwinning projects. Each one of them is a new journey for me and my students!

I teach IT and Math.

Our school is located in the northwestern part of Greece, in the region of Epirus. The name of our city is Ioannina. The main attractions are Lake Pamvotis with the Island, the Castle, the old town, the mountains, the traditional villages, and the ancient city of Dodona.

Our school has 130 students aged 13 to 15. Class B, aged 14, will participate in our program.

 My name is Evangelia Angelaki, and I am an ICT teacher at the 14th Primary School of Lamia, Greece. Since 2004, I have been dedicated to working in Public Primary and Secondary Education, always motivated by the desire to bring innovation into the classroom.

I am very excited to participate in the project “Green Digital Citizen – Today, Tomorrow, Always,” as it beautifully combines two areas I am passionate about: digital literacy and environmental awareness. I firmly believe that education plays a crucial role in shaping responsible, creative, and environmentally conscious citizens. 

I look forward to exchanging ideas, experiences, and best practices with all of you, and to collaborating on meaningful activities that will inspire our students to become active and responsible digital and green citizens.

My name is Maria Diamantopoulou, I am a Primary school teacher at the 20th Primary School of Lamia, a city in central Greece. I have been a teacher since 1996 and my first eTwinning was in 2011. These last years I have participated in project that have been rewarded with NQL and EQL. Our school received the eTwinning School label.

My educational interests focus on promoting students’ literacy in digital tools and applications that can enhance the creativity of their learning process, while also helping them acquire knowledge and experience. Ι αμ encouraging active student participation and discovery.

I joined this eTwinning project because I believe international collaboration is a wonderful opportunity, not only for our students but also for us as teachers. My name is Cecilia VICOVEANU. I started my activity in 2000 as a biology (biochemistry) teacher in formal high school education. Since 2004, I have been working in non-formal education, where I still continue today, coordinating the Environmental Protection Circle at the Children’s Palace in Botoșani. I work with students’ free time, aged between 6 and 18 years, which is very important. The activities are beautiful and interesting, but it is a continuous and demanding work to maintain both their interest and attendance. This is also the reason why I enroll them in such projects.

I have been active on the eTwinning platform since 2014, participating in projects focused on environmental protection. Together with most of the partners in this project, we have managed to get involved and successfully complete attractive and valuable projects, which have been awarded with national and European Quality Labels.

Through this project, I would like us to help students become aware, active, and responsible digital citizens, who contribute to protecting the planet through smart choices, both online and in everyday life.

I work actively on STEM initiatives, both European and local, such as the Water Rocket Challenge and the Science Exhibition. Our school serves students aged 11 to 18, covering secondary education and the baccalaureate stage.

Vila-real is known for its oranges and tiles — the backbone of our economy. That’s why protecting the environment and embracing new technologies to improve our surroundings is especially important to us.

I love eTwinning and to collaborate with colleagues from other countries. All these years I am an eTwinner, I have learnt different things that helped me to improve the quality of my lessons and to be easier to engage my students.
