Good afternoon! It’ s a great honor for me to introduce myself.

My name is Hu Boya and my English name is Echo. I’m from Changsha, Hunan located in south of China. What’s more, I have a lot of hobbies, like singing, dancing and playing badminton. The main reason why I chose accounting as my major is that my family recommended it to me. Moreover, I’m not interested in physics and literature majors, so even though I didn't learn a lot about accounting before entering the college, I ‘m willing to learn it and have expectation for it. As for the outline of my aspirations for the future, during my college years, I aspire to study diligently, engage in various activities actively, and live a fulfilling and enriched college life. Later, my hope is to be admitted to the graduate program in accounting. As for the future, whether I choose to work or pursue a PhD, I haven't made a final decision yet. But I know that I needn’t to worry about distant things, just focusing on the present Currently. My aspiration is to organize my life well and enjoy my daily life.

You included some very good evaluation where you justified your stance quite well. You also used some great evaluative language which makes your writing sound academic. Your in-text citations are mostly accurate, but you tend to always use the same form. Try to include a variety of reporting structures. For example, you can use structures like "according to …" or you can use reporting verbs like "argues that …". Reporting verbs have many different meanings that can be used to emphasise your interpretation of the author's ideas.
