The puritans were a very religious Christian group. They are the ones who settled in America first. The puritans feared the devil because anything that seemed bad, the devil was the one. They also did not like sinners and believed that you can not pretend to be good because they believe God chooses where you will go and that he only has the care of some people, not all.

Witch Craft was a belief that it was an unnatural power where a dark spirit posses others which can be known now as a exorcism. It is to be said that it is common in children, especially the women. Some traits that occurred were like demonic spirits of them talking, certain mood swings, or even flying. It was a time where if you are convicted of being a witch, you are accused and then hanged because it was guilty till proven innocent.

She is the first one accussed of witch craft. She is a slave and works for people. She is the one to be accussed but yet is also the first to blame others of witch craft. It was said that she is the one who is involved and communicate with the devil so in town, they look at her as an outsider because she was the easy target to be considered a witch craft.

In the image, it appears that someone disagreed to be accussed of being a witch. the puritans believed anything not normal was witch craft so they took it to court, but other reasons can be like if they do not like the person. The court is where they make you convict that you are the witch and convey you to be guilty. You can see in the image they are frightened because they don't support such with craft and don't want to be the one to catch the "disease".

He is the priest/minster of the Salem. He is apart of the which trials of the 1692-1693. He is a paranoid man and does not please easily. He worries abut his reputation because if he is considered any witch craft, everyone will turn on him and he can be hanged. He was a scandolous man but does these because every ones action were to the point where they would snitch on who is the witch.
