It was mostly positive. There are negative sides of using online tools for writing as well. Students may not have access to online tools or they might be distracted while writng it.

The most important part was when we did group work solving a problem and also getting feedback from other groups. So, we were able to see the parts that we didn't think.

In a PLC meeting, the most interesting part would be the marking codes part or the last part we introduced websites.

Coursebook listenings are prepared professionally and graded well for students but not enough. Authentic materials should be combined well with coursebook listenings so students can improve their listening skills while hearing different accents and real life talkings.

Using different listening activities will be helpful to improve students' active listening abilities. Every student has a different learning style so different activite listening activities will make students help each other and create a peer learning setting.

The biggest issue is the different accents that we come across in listening activities. Especially for the students, when every listening has a different accent in the actvity, they are complaining about that they cant catch up with the audio.

Talking about difficulties that learners face in a speaking activity, I think that the most important thing to make them feel confident. Students' feelings and confidence is a key point for a fluent and accurate speech.

The most useful idea in the sessions was the apps that we learned in class. Most of our coursebook acitivities can be digitalised via these apps.

Responsibility - Students are given a task to do at home and they need to be prepared for classroom
Aimed - Since classroom time will be used mostly for practice, aimed skills will improve more.
Risky - Students might not be doing their tasks most of the time and it could cause a lose classroom time.

I have concerns about whether students can adapt the flipped classroom style learning or not. That could be quite challenging for students. And also it may be a problem with the home studies.

Most probably, my colleagues wouldnt want since most of them are teaching in traditional style. I would try to introduce them the flipped classroom and help them understand the aim.

In Turkey, traditional way is used mostly which is really sad situation. Especially in rural areas, it is nearly impossible to use the other way.

It is important to show the benefits of implicitly teaching easy parts of grammar. However, still for really difficult grammar, we can still use traditional way.

Most of the teacher wouldnt want the way they teach which is traditionally but if they try a few times in their classroom, they might have a bit of change in their minds.

We can use communicative tasks such as problem solving or project work.

Translation might be used only when teaching really difficult grammar but otherwise, students should explore and guess the meaning usually...
Vocabulary books are great to learn and it is a personal dictionary so that students can go back when they want. While writing the words in their notebooks, they are also teaching it to their muscle memory. Every word has a different story behind and when we learn a word, we dont only learn that word but also many words related to it. Like discovering a person...

Everyone shared their opinions during the course and we discussed the problems that we may encounter when we do PLCs.

We will be working with teachers from my region and since we will have similar problems, it will be nice that everyone will understand each other.

It is almost clear :) waiting for it~
