The accent that Smokey had and accident of pooping on the laundry. It started a new direction for the story because then nana phillie took smokey and now Smokey is her pet so maybe when Turtle has a home and has to go she wont see Smokey often.

In the story" Turtle In Paradise" Question 1  asks what happened to smokey Turtle's  cat. Smokey Turtles cat is with nana Phillie Turtle gave smokey to her grandma to make her feel good. And have company because she is alone and about to die. This might help out her grandma by letting her feel like she has company and safe.

Question 2 .
In the story " Turtle In Paradise" question 2 asks what convenient accident did smokey have? how did it begin  a new direction in the story? I think that smokey caused something new because Smokey fell In the piano by the edge and was screeching and screeming and that caused Turtle to go over. After that Turtle got her out and saw a cigar box and opened it she could feel it was old because it had layers of dust. She opened it and it was a gold coin she thought that it was treasure from black beard. So Turtle  told the diaper gang and now they are trying to find the rest. 

Question 3.
In the story" Turtle In Paradise" question 3 asks why were the boys so quick to believe Turtle wild story. I think the boys believed her story is because she had proof of the coin and also because it had came from her grandma and she is really old and they might think that she has known captian black beard because of that. Also her grandma hid that might mean that she is hiding it for a reason .This shows that They might think black beard knew his grandma.

Question 4.
In the story " Turtle In Paradise" question 4 asks How did believeing in monsters relate to the story? I think that the title Monsters was a good one because They might think that captain black beard as a monster that got lots of gold.
