The reason why I am saying that is due to the fact that all three people in the photo have running gear on. Also the photo reminds me of something called a "mud run" which is a 5k race where people run in mud. With so much sludge and dirt, it brings back an imagine of running in the mud. This picture looks similar to that, I believe he was doing some sort of Zombie run type thing and fell into the mud, this would be a prime victim for the people dressed as zombies.
