In 2023 I set a goal to read 90 books! I surpassed my goal and ended up reading 104 books! I am extremely proud of myself and the reader that I am!

The one that stands out the most to me was getting to spend an entire day with my babushka (grandmother). She is 84 years old and always brings a smile to my face. She is incredibly sweet. I don't often get to be with just her and no one else, but on that day, it was just us. I hope to spend more time with her in 2024.

I know that sounds silly, but often times I am so busy taking care of everyone else, that I forget about me. This year I made sure to have some down time and work on being a better person and what that looks like for me. This is something I'd like to continue in 2024.

I love it here and I am extremely happy. It was the best choice I ever made, but I didn't think it would be this hard. Planning new lessons because I teach 7th instead of 8th. Making new friends when I really just miss my old friends. Finding my way around the building with the different wings and floors. It ended up being way harder than I thought it would be. The best things are always hard. The road less traveled is always the right path to take.

In 2022 I woke up every morning at 4:30 and either went on the treadmill or went to the gym. In 2023, I was very tired and lost track of my fitness journey. While that is okay because you can always start over, I hope to actually start over this year. I like working out and I feel so much better about myself when I do it.
