I am starting to make my conclusion that it does not affect marriage success but it affects how easy it is for the two people to communicate, connecting to their relationship. Much of what I have found has been mainly targeted towards women in harsh situations. I recently came across an episode of Law & Order: SVU where a man was raped at gunpoint by a female officer and none of the police officers believed him. For example, during the 1940's women's stockings used to be made of Japanese silk until it was banned in the US after the bombing of pearl harbor. Stocking was then made of nylon but nylon was needed for the war effort. As a substitute women used to paint on their stockings and draw on the seams. For their lesson plan, they took the student section to go and complete an activity where they made moon pies and learned about the solar system. I took a lot of very detailed notes and have a better understanding of this class/area of teaching. I plan on going and observing another class, but this time I will observe a class for students with autism.
