The story behind the picture 
This piece was painted my myself to reflect the emotions of women in society today. The woman of African decent that is reflected in this portrait is feeling stressed, depressed, tired, as she has returned from a day at work and she has to go and perform household duties, cook dinner and help her sons with their homework. She feels boxed in. She feels hopeless.
