Brad Bautista
- Romulus and Remus
753BCE
The legend goes that 2 demi-god twins co-founded Rome. But after Romulus murdered Remus was the city named Rome

- The Roman Republic
380BCE - 146BCE
Rome had established a senate to rule with shared power, not one individual could have to much power. Rome had adopted Greek mythology and religion and adapted it to its liking. Rome would begin to develop an advanced military and would purge neighboring nations, but this power would not be flexed until Julius Caesar entered the picture. The Punic Wars were fought against Carthage for control over the naval trade, Carthage was ready, for it defeated Greece before, the first war was a disaster for Carthage, the 2nd featured Hannibal´s conquests in roman Europe, which would push later Romans to destroy Carthage by the 3rd and final Punic war.

- The 1st Triumvirate
100BCE - 44BCE
Julius Caesar, Pompey, and Crassus became allies and formed the 1st Triumvirate, They managed to get Caesar elected consul after he successfully invaded Germania. After that the alliance did not last, after forcing Lepidus to retire, Octavian turned his sights to Mark Antony who was much more popular with the Roman people, and had a loyal army. After Antony moved to Egypt, he accused Antony of running Rome from Egypt and defeated his army, Antony suicided before Octavian could get to Memphis. Octavian changed his name to Augustus Caesar and named himself emperor and ended the Republic.

- The Roman Empire
43BCE - 500CE
Augustus would initiate on of the worlds strongest dynasties and most significant Empire known to man, The Roman Empire would be the cradle spread of Christianity and the founder of future capitals like London and Paris. It would engineer many structural feats that were greatly advanced for the time, and its use of it famous and effective Roman concrete. Many great emperors like Vespasian, Trajan, and Hadrian would push Rome to its height. Rome would span three continents Europe, Africa, and Asia. It would last centuries, to be precise over 200 years of peace called the Pax Romana.
