Nepal is the origin of Buddhism and was founded by Prince Siddhartha when he sought enlightenment and sat under a fig tree for 49 days until he found his enlightenment. He then taught people how to achieve enlightenment his message then spread all across Asia, all the way to north to Mongolia and to the humid jungles of Vietnam. A local place of worship for Budidis is the Quan Am Temple in Lansing Michigan. The largest Buddhist temple is Angkor Wat temple in Krong Siem Reap, Cambodia. The fig tree Prince Siddhartha sat under is real and located in Bihar, India. This is more of a fun fact than an important thing to Buddhists, originally thought to be a metal statue of Budha had a mummified Chinese monk inside.

X-rays revealed that the monk had gone through normal Chinese mummification where they take out all the organs in an attempt to preserve the body but it seems to not work. So in a last-ditch attempt to preserve the monk's body, they encased his body in a metal shell similar to Buddha. They couldn't locate the exact location of where this oca=oured but they "narrowed" it down to somewhere in central China.

Its church though is very large St. Peter's Basilica has a capacity of 20,000 people sitting and 60,000 standing. The City originally consisted of the Papal States which was most of central itally and lasted from 756-1870. Before being absorbed by Piedmont-Sardinia in 1870 they formed into what we know as Italy. The Vatican City we know now didn't really get its start until it was granted independence by Benito Mussolini in 1929, yes that Mussolini.
