Begun in 1163 and completed in 1345, this cathedral is a spectacle with its flying buttresses, its sculpted doorways, and its numerous gargoyles adorning the roof.

First, there’s Austin, which is the capital. People say it’s the “Live Music Capital of the World” and there are some big festivals like SXSW. It also has some chill parks, lakes, and food trucks with good food.

Then there’s San Antonio, where I could check out the Alamo, which is a famous historic place. The River Walk looks nice too — it’s full of lights, restaurants and places to hang out.

Dallas and Houston are also pretty famous. Dallas has a cool skyline and a museum about JFK. Houston has NASA stuff, like the Space Center, where you can see rockets and space things.

Texas also has nature, like Big Bend National Park, deserts, and some beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. So yeah, lots of different places to explore.

Overall, Texas seems like a cool place with music, food, history, and fun. I think it would be a nice trip.

Þingvellir also boasts Iceland’s largest natural lake, Þingvallavatn. Its biggest draw is Silfra, the trench that’s caused by the movement of the Eurasian and the North American tectonic plates. Here, you can literally swim between two continents, in some of the clearest water in the world.

Alternatively, take a walk in the trenches and canyons formed by the warping earth. It’s as fascinating as it is beautiful.

Geysir 💧

Want to experience the surprise and thrill of Iceland’s volcanic activity up close? There’s no better place than at the Geysir geothermal area.

In fact, this is the very place that gave its name to the phenomenon now known as geysers, the holes in the ground from which boiling water bursts high into the sky. Visit Geysir and you’ll stand beneath steaming jets of water created by geothermal activity beneath the earth.

Blue Lagoon 🌊

People have been bathing here since the early eighties, when the lagoon was created. Locals swear by the healing powers of its water, with Iceland’s National Health Service even approving visits for the treatment of psoriasis.

In winter, it can be a particularly welcome experience. What’s more, you can gaze at the northern lights that dance above your head as you chill.

Reykjavik 🗻

Too many visitors to Iceland simply pass through the capital city on their way to more famous natural sights. But they’re missing out. The reality is that Reykjavik has some of Iceland’s top attractions and best insights into true Icelandic culture.

Where to start? Reykjavik’s harbour—the beating ancient heart of the city—can be a good place. Along the city’s scenic and historic waterfront, you’ll find sights including Harpa, one of the city’s most important buildings and cultural hubs. And, a short distance away, you’ll discover the Sun Voyager, probably Iceland’s most iconic sculpture.

•Casino de Monte-Carlo: This is a gaming and entertainment complex located in the city of Monte-Carlo. It was conceived by the wife of Prince Florestan I and built by one of the best architects and artists of the 19th century, representing one of the most beautiful works of the Belle Époque. Since gambling in Italy and France is reserved for seaside resorts and major tourist cities, the Casino de Monte-Carlo has become a triumph.

•Old Town: This is a historic district of Monaco, easily recognizable by the fortress overlooking the city perched on the cliff and by the colorful residential houses. When you arrive in the Principality, your gaze will naturally be drawn to the works of art and you will undoubtedly find your way to Place du Palais, the square where the Changing of the Palace Guard takes place every day at precisely 11:55 am. In the historic center of Monaco you can find several other beautiful views, such as the viewpoint, the Prince's Palace and the royal gardens.

•Monaco Cathedral: Built in 1875, it houses the tombs of the deceased princes. It was built after the demolition of the church of Saint Nicholas, following the separation of the principality of Monaco and the Diocese of Nice. It stands out for its history and beauty, built with white Carrara marble and with beautiful architecture inside.

1) Temple of Olympian Zeus-

This massive temple was dedicated to Zeus, the king of the gods. Built to honor his power, it was one of the largest temples in ancient Greece

Despite being unfinished for centuries, it still stands as a reminder of Athens’ golden age and its devotion to the gods.

2) Temple of Apollo - Delphi

a place made for the Greek god Apollo, the god of archery, music, light, prophecy, the arts, and healing.

People believed it was the center of the world, chosen by Zeus. where the god Apollo communicated through the Pythia, his priestess. Kings and citizens came from across Greece to consult the oracle.

Today, the Temple of Apollo at Delphi stands in ruins, but key parts of its structure remain visible.

3) Temple of Artemis -

was a Greek temple dedicated to the goddess of hunting, wilderness, and the moon.

Artemis wasn’t just a huntress—she also protected women and children. This made the temple a place of worship for people seeking her protection and guidance in both life and nature.

Though the temple is now in ruins, its impact is still felt.

5) Necromanteion of Acheron-

was an ancient Greek temple of necromancy devoted to Hades and Persephone, it was believed to be a gateway to the underworld.

People visited to communicate with the spirits of the dead. visitors could seek guidance, answers of the dead ones.

many people would go to Greece mainly because of its mythology, which is interesting and varied, with the various statues, temples and attractions of the gods. Also, people visited these temples in search of blessings from these gods.

It's easy to get overwhelmed when there are so many different options, so here are 5 place I personally recommend checking out:

First up is Anping Fort. Built by the Dutch in 1624, it’s where Taiwan’s colonial history began. You can walk along the stone walls, explore the old cannons, or just enjoy the views of the surrounding area.

After visiting the fort, you can take a five-minute walk to the Anping Tree House. It used to be a warehouse, but now banyan trees have completely overgrown it. Their roots twist through windows and walls, creating an incredible scene that feels both peaceful and a little eerie.

Next up is Chihkan Tower. Dating back to the Ming dynasty, it’s filled with historic relics and stone tablets. There’s also a koi pond and a small garden, making it a perfect spot to relax and take some photos.

Then there’s the Confucius Temple, which was built in 1665. It’s Taiwan’s oldest Confucian temple and remains a quiet place where students come to pray for exam success. It’s a calm spot to learn about history and soak in the atmosphere.

And lastly, there’s the Siao-Long Cultural Park. Once a Japanese-era sugar factory, it’s now a vibrant cultural space filled with art exhibits, performance halls, and a museum dedicated to the local Siraya culture. It’s a creative blend of history and modern life that’s definitely worth exploring.

Now let's see the most important places you have to visit in Rome:

• The Coliseum

An eternal symbol of the greatness of Ancient Rome, the Colosseum is perhaps one of the best known landmarks on the planet. This impressive amphitheater is in the heart of the city and has accommodated up to 80,000 spectators.

• Trevi Fountain

The Trevi Fountain is the largest and most impressive fountain in Rome, and one of its best-known tourist attractions. It was built in the XVIII century in travertine marble and represents Neptune, the god of the sea riding a shell-shaped carriage pulled by seahorses. In addition, there is a great tradition of throwing coins at the Trevi Fountain.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable Swiss experience, look no further than Oeschinensee, one of the prettiest lakes in Switzerland.This alpine lake is easy to reach for all ages and abilities thanks to a gondola and easy path to the lakeshore. Many spend the day here lounging with a picnic, swimming, renting a boat to row across the lake, or soaking in the view from one of the restaurants. 

If you enjoy hiking, we suggest the spectacular panorama trail that traverses the mountain high above the water.

Lauterbrunnen

Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland, is a village that looks like something out of a fairy tale. Nestled in a stunning valley, surrounded by towering mountains and beautiful waterfalls, this small village in the heart of the Swiss Alps is a true paradise for nature and adventure lovers.

Staubbach Falls: the city's most famous waterfall, immortalized by writers such as Goethe and Lord Byron. It is located right in the city center and is incredibly beautiful. For an even more incredible view, take the short trail up the mountain, pass through the tunnel and climb to the back of the waterfall. The views are wonderful!

Trümmelbach Falls: a set of hidden waterfalls. One of the most interesting and unique in the region. These waterfalls are fed by the melting of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau glaciers, creating an impressive natural spectacle.

Chillon Castle

Chillon Castle is a medieval island castle located on Lake Geneva,and is amongst the most visited medieval castles in Europe. it now belongs to the canton of Vaud and is classified as a Swiss Cultural Property of National Significance.

Chillon remains open to the public for visits and tours on an entrance fee basis and is, according to the castle's website, "Switzerland's most visited historic monument". There are parking spaces and a nearby bus stop. Inside the castle are recreations of the interiors of some of the main rooms including the grand bedroom, hall, and cave stores. Visitors can view four great halls, three courtyards, and a series of bedrooms including the Camera domini, which was occupied by the Duke of Savoy and is decorated with 14th century murals.
