         <title>Advanced Science PLC
Summary
We have worked diligently to discover where students have been having success/struggling to gain complete understanding. We are currently reviewing where successes were had last year, and looking to implement those successful changes in other classrooms.

Action Steps
step 1- review changes that were made last year
step 2 - look at implementing any successful differences into other classes this year.
step 3- review next year if changes were successful in more classes
step 4- edit curriculum maps

Notes
this is a multi year process that is driving changes to our curriculum map, and goals. Our group is really focused on making sure changes are edited into curriculum maps or the reflections are made

         <title>FACS PLC

Summary:
We are still working on developing an aim statement that works for our group. We all have such different classes but share similar students so we sometimes compare our similar students.

Action Steps:
Step 1: review what our last aim statement was and work on coming up with a new one to work on for next school year.
Step 2: Discuss the different options that we can focus on as a group.
Step 3: Come up with an aim statement that we can all agree upon and implement for next year.

         <title>____Alg 2 daily __
Summary
We&#39;ve redesigned the course to better suit the students. So we are aligning curriculum to the text to have a better flow and structure while still hitting the standards

Action Steps
First step was splitting the regular course with the daily . This allowed us to take an honest look at the needs of the daily course.

Notes
We are in the process of finishing this as I type and writing the new map for next year.

Summary:
Originally we were aligning our end of course assessments with the priority standards provided by the IDOE. With the changes needed in our curriculum maps, we are currently aligning the curriculum vertically and horizontally among all courses within the department.

Action Steps
* Meeting as an entire department to discuss needs among courses
* Discussing future goals within each grouping (9/10 vs 11/12)
* Create curriculum maps per provided format

Summary
We are considering splitting into PLC areas - writing, math, and LIM . We will use the STEP process to begin writing and math, while continuing in the Seek phase with LIM. Our action steps for LIM are as follows:
1. Begin staff training proactive behavior - circle in control and proactive/reactive language, followed by training in subsequent habits.
2. Create a positive environment and culture of leaders with language, decor, student leadership opportunities, and understanding of the 7 habits.
3. Review staff LIM survey with committee.
4. Gather updated on SEL with classroom observations by all staff members.</title>
