This is Darwin's book “The Origin Of Species.” The introduction gives a brief description of how he became convinced of evolution while on the Beagle voyage, and how he had developed his theory. This book represents how good of a scientist Charles Darwin was and how his legacy will go on through this book about Natural Selection. This famous work proves that Darwin perhaps made the greatest contribution to scientific knowledge.

All of these places were named after Charles Darwin. Many of these places and statues represent their belief in Drawin's theory of evolution and respect for his hard work. Some of these places learn about his theories and extend his ideas. These images prove how respected Darwin and his theory are in society. Many of these monuments are there because of the positive impacts darwin made on the scientific world.

This research station is based on Darwin's research. They take care of turtles and watch them grow and change throughout the years. This station talks about Drawin's voyages and his impact on our perspective on evolution. The mission of the Charles Darwin Research Station is to tackle the greatest threats and challenges to the Galapagos turtles through scientific research and conservation, to safeguard one of the world's most important natural treasures. The existence of this sanctuary is a verification of Darwin's impact on society and the world's understanding of science and the origin of life.

When boarding the HMS Beagle, Darwin started his 5-year long journey. During the voyage, he landed in the Galapagos Islands in 1835 where he started to formulate his ideas on natural selection. He found several species of finch adapted to different environments. The finches differed in beak shape, food source, and how food was captured. All of Darwin's notes and sketches prove as evidence that Darwin really was an explorer and a traveler.

Doubts about Darwin And His Theory

This video talks about the problems with Darwin's theory. First of all the fossil evidence Darwin talked about in 1859 acknowledged that it was actually against his theory, and he just had to assume that the fossil record was incomplete to save his theory from harsh criticism. Philip E. Johnson from the video also talks about DNA copying errors that were made during the creation of hi idea/theory.

Darwin's theory made some people angry because of certain beliefs and religions. The majority of religious communities weren’t happy because he talked about reasons why God didn’t create or evolve humans. Darwin was seen by some as mounting a serious challenge to traditional religious understandings of the creation of the world and humankind.
