i have looked at 2 music videos "white stripes-the hardest button" and "Peter Gabriel's slegdehammer" the second ones uses pixilation, claymation and object animation. the first one doesn't use claymation its only uses pixilation and object animation and uses it only in one way which is moving but skipping bits

today me and gabby have created our idea and made our story board for our 10 seconds animation clip. i have written my synopsis for this clip.

Today i have drawn the bigining and end of the animation using about 40 sheets of paper and using the first drawing them tracing it and taking a tiny bit of the end so when you look at it it looks like it is growing and moving down the page so when it has been captured on the software it will be moving.

yesterday me and gabby had made our clip using istop motion i think it went real well it was quite hard because moving the little character moved the sheet of paper so i had to keep making sure it was all in line before gabby took a picture. overall the whole thing looks real good and looks like a little hour film. We used a "south park" way of moving the characters them just moving left to right as they move forward .

today me lewis and Luke made a stencil animation clip using 3 backgrounds and 4 meateors moving through the backgrounds. we are now going to be looking at an object animation and clayMation and think of an idea what todo with our animation clip.

today i have done a lot of research on TV indents, my group has also made an idea for the final animation, i have made a storyboard which i on my visual log and i written my synopsis.

today me, luke, gabby and lewis are going to be making are going to be making the set of our little clip. we are going to making any props that we will need.

i made the bridge and the set. i think that it has gone exactly how i wanted it to at the beginning the brigade was okaii but after i re-thought what id done i was able to make it look better.

today we will be filming our scene but we are going to start filming after lunch as an hour isn't enough time todo it and we don't want to just leave it. Before lunch we are going to be making some final adjustments to the set making sure nothings fallen off or broken, and we are going to be updated our padlets as we go along to keep a record of what we are doing on our iPads. As there is a lot to be moved throughout the clip and each time we take a picture there is a lot that needs to be moved each time. As we have 4 hours after lunch we are going to take a lot of time to make each movement slight so when we play it in real time it will look really clean. We are going to use 4 shots for each frame so it won't be really fast and will be normal pace when looking at it.

Before lunch we set up our camera and our set now we are carrying in with it and we are gping to be fimling our clip now it will properly take about rest of the day to get it perfect i hope it will be easy but because there some fidley bits it might be abiyt difficult to move certain bits.

so now we have filmed our clip and it was quite difficult because we had to get the man up the brigade before walking him across it so i had to stick him to a something and use a plastic stick to move him and not get the the stick in the shot. the most difficult bit was having him fall of the brigade because we had to attach him to the bridge by pressing the plasticine together and had to take the shots quickly so he didn't fall off. Another hard bit was the cloud cause we had to have the clouds move of and have the black cloud come in so me and lewis had to hold the up with wire and take the shot then it was quite hard cause were were trying not to get ourselves in the shot but getting the clouds in the shot. it got quite messy as the fish and the man ended up in the water that was made out of hair gel so my hands were covered in hair gel by having to move the fish through the water and having to move the man and his hat whilst i the hair gel. some bits in the film needed to be slowed down so you can see the clouds and the lighting better because its very quick. next monday were are going to be editing it slowing parts down fastening bits up and putting some music behind it and some sounds to make it even better.

today we are going to be editing our clip and putting sound effect in and some music we will also put some music behind it. i think last week went pretty well as our clip is really good it just need some editing to make it better. it is going to a while to get it perfect as we have to find a lll the sounds effect and the music and cutting it down and pasting it all so it perfect

today we have finished our clip we have done all the editing and rendered it is on my visual log. I have completed my questionnaire and evaluation. we had bait of trouble with the editing as some of the effects weren't working on the program.
