They first thought it was made by pigeons on the antenna but even after that, they kept hearing the sound so they discovered that it was a hum from the cosmos and they also got a nobel prize for their discovery.

Cats have a special adaptation called 'gleaming eyes.' They get the gleam from a special structure resting behind their photoreceptors called 'tapetum lucidum.' This is made from crystal containing cells which reflect light. When it reflects the light, it let's the photoreceptors sense the light again, giving it a second chance to from an image. It also gives their eyes a glow.

Fact: This method is what the artificial cats eyes we use on the roads is based on.

In 1915, Einstein theorized gravitational lensing, which explained why galaxies far away can appear as rings around closer galaxies. The theory was that a large object bends the area around it creating a lens; this is able to magnify the light in a galaxy far away making it appear as a ring around a closer galaxy.

Fine details require a fine grid of photo receptors. The trick however is to balance the need for photons with the loss of detail to still find their flowers

Many moths and animals are nocturnal and can see during night because their eyes can adjust and see when there is less light. In the eye, there are photo-receptors which detect and receive light which are called photons. When there is more light, there is are more photons and there are less photons in the night a Bigger eyes can receive more photons which make it easier for animals with bigger eyes to see in the dark.
